I wish him all the best!!
We had some what similar situation. But we had only one son, and so went with the option of getting a match for our son using IVF (Test tube baby) and PGD (Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis) which tells you if the embryo is a match or not.
We finally had a daughter few months back who is a full match for our son, and he will be undergoing Cord Blood Transplant in Jan 2010.

We had a very similar situation with our then 2-yr old daughter. Because her leukemia was very rare, her only treatment option was a bone marrow transplant. Unfortunately my unborn baby was not a match for her and neither were her two other siblings. However, we were able to use an unrelated cord blood that had been donated. Today our daughter is a healthy 5 year old! Although our baby's cord blood wasn't a match for our daughter, it is a perfect match for our other two kids. We are grateful for the sibling connection which helped us store our cord blood - although we hope we never need to use it!
